Executive Biography

As Head of Development at Tri Destined Films, Inc., Mr. Rashad El Amin is responsible for taking each film concept, treatment and/or script from the development stage into production.

Rashad El Amin is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, where he received his bachelor of fine arts degree in Theatre. After college Mr. El Amin moved to Los Angeles, CA and formed the production company 828 entertainment with a team of young producers and directors where he utilized his skills in all phases of production. His self produced feature film earned accolades at the Pan African Film Festival.

Soon after, Mr. El Amin’s experience as a Booking Agent for the world renowned BBKing franchise garnered him key relationship with industry talent and representatives. These relationships proved to be helpful as his career shifted into the development track. Rashad has just completed three films that will be released late 2006 and in 2007, “Price To Pay” from producer Brad Wyman producer of “Monster”, “The Third nail” with actor Huntley writer and Charles Dutton and “Soul To Go” Written and produced and directed by Greg Anderson and Veronica Nichols. Rashad also served as the casting director for the Tri Destined Film project “American Dream” and has recently completed his next screenplay, “Middle Of Your Day”.
