Executive Biography

As Chairperson and CEO of Tri Destined Studios, N.D. Brown oversees all business and legal affairs, corporate structure and strategic planning, as well as green-lights projects for Tri Destined Studios and its subsidiary companies. Prior to her tenure at Tri Destined Studios she served as Producer, Founder, and CEO of Tri Destined Media Enterprises, Inc., an entertainment firm currently overseeing multimedia advancement, investment and technology for Tri Destined Studios. Ms. Brown and her TDS Team (including partners, Trey Haley and Gregory Anderson) have produced, written and directed hundreds of multimedia productions for clients and corporate partners such as: Warner Brothers/Asylum Records, Universal Studios, Sony Studios, Paramount Studios, Blockbuster, FOX, BET, MTV, The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, NAACP Image Awards, Burger King, Wells Fargo, Little Wayne, T.I., Coach Carter, Anna Ivanovich, Braylon Edwards, Maurice Green, HSI, Favor PR, ARPR, The Nissan Leadership Program, Organization of Black Screen Writers, Black Educational Events and esteemed Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

N.D. Brown is extremely dedicated to providing unique employment opportunities to minorities and women who are often underrepresented in the industry and exposing this same talent to an awaiting global audience. She has also produced several community outreach and social awareness projects including The Call, which received critical acclaimed for tackling and exposing the torments of AIDS; the Inner City Destiny Awards which shines light on the accomplishments of our inner city communities; and The Angel City Classic, the HBCU Arena Sporting Event, held annually at the Los Angeles Coliseum to over 50,000 stadium fans and 8 million Fox Sports West TV Viewers.

Her most recent achievement as Film Producer at Tri Destined is the forthcoming Art House Film “Why Am I Doing This?” starring Tom Huang, Anthony Montgomery, Obba Babatunde, Valarie Pettiford, Joe Torry, Clyde Katasu and Gerry Bednob exploring why and how African Americans, Asians, and other ethnicities can break through the glass ceiling in Hollywood. Her upcoming Tri Destined Film and Television projects include “Drill Team”, “Sorors”, “Southern Girl”, “HBCU Today” and the highly anticipated Bev Kearney Life Story project currently entitled, “Walking on Water” which Ms. Brown is set to produce with Barry Katz of New Wave Entertainment and Jason Blum of Blum House Productions. 

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Abraham and Sallie J. Brown, N.D. Brown holds a MBA from Florida A&M University and studied international affairs at the renowned Institute de Catholique de Paris in France. During her undergraduate studies at Florida A&M, Ms. Brown pledged the Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated founded in 1913. N.D. Brown and Trey Haley founded Tri Destined Studios, Hollywood’s Premiere African-American owned Studio, in 1998. The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Upscale Magazine have featured N.D.
